Here you will be able to find the best Lumatek fixtures for your grow, either by footprint, wattage or usable eciency to achieve optimal light distribution and plant growth.(**) The calculator will also recommend the use of supplemental CO2 depending on the lighting levels predicted.
Enter below the length and width dimension of your grow area in meters (minimum of 0.5m)

For large scale projects above 100 m2 or if you have dierent PPFD target, please use the contact form below for a light plan.
· m2 – square meter, is the SI derived unit of area with symbol m2. It is the area of a square with sides one metre in length.
· CO2 – carbon dioxide molecules consist of a carbon atom covalently double bonded to two oxygen atoms. During photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide and water (H2O) from the air and soil. Within the plant cell, the water is oxidized, meaning it loses electrons, while the carbon dioxide is reduced, meaning it gains electrons. This transforms the water into oxygen and the carbon dioxide into glucose.
· PPFD – Photosynthetically Photon Flux Density
expressed in mol/m2/s, designates the spectral range
(wave band) of solar radiation from 400 to 700
nanometers that photosynthetic organisms are able to
use in the process of photosynthesis.
· m – meter is the base unit of length in the International
System of Units (SI). The SI unit symbol is m.
· kW – kilowatt is equal to one thousand Watts. It is used to quantify the rate of energy transfer, especially electric.
· mol/W – usable eciency describes the amount of PAR photons per Watt that are produced by a fixture and arrive to the plants. It describes the amount of light that will be available for photosynthesis. Usable eciency is less than the total Photosynthetically Photon Flux (PPF) because some photons that are produced by the fixture are lost in radiance and reflection.
· % – percentage is a number or ratio expressed as
a fraction of 100. It is often denoted using the
percent sign, “%”. A percentage is a dimensionless
number (pure number). it has no unit of
measurement.
